This accessory is ideal when mounting a roof top tent that it's bigger than the the bed of your truck. If you have an 18" RCI bed rack, the best solution is to purchase the 2" Riser Kit and the as they will give you the extra height you need. That way the tent will be mounted and it'll not scratch the roof of your cab.
